At Mango Butterfull, a Guadeloupean company, we are inspired by the treasures of nature that surround us to create artisanal care products with gentle formulations, derived from innovative associations of plants, fruits and spices.
Our production facilities offer a complete range of cosmetics with unctuous fragrances and textures, specialized in skin care and sealing the moisture of dry hair.
Butters, Waxes, Oils, Milks, Ch'Antillys, ... Everyone will find what they are looking for among the multitude of artisanal delicacies on offer.
Genesis of the Butterfull cosmetics brand
Following the end of straightening in 2010 and the birth of her son, Anita, a self-taught Congolese woman living in Guadeloupe, composes her first mango butters for the maintenance of her frizzy hair and the care of her son's fragile skin. Initially, she imported natural products bought on the island from online sites. Then, inconvenienced by the hazards of transport, exorbitant customs duties and the lack of transparency on the origin of raw materials, she turned to making her own cosmetics, which she offers to her colleagues and her family, among others. Everyone encourages her to create her own brand of products, as the results are so satisfactory. Passionate and eager to share her discoveries on the natural care of frizzy hair, she leaves her job, trains in handcrafted cosmetics and develops her range of natural cosmetics. Surrounded by a profusion of mango trees, generous nature, medal-winning beekeepers and local craftsmen, her range of products is expanding to the delight of fans of healthy artisanal products.
After Guadeloupe, a new production unit has just been installed in Africa, in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
OUR ETHICS, OUR VALUES
A range of 100% natural artisanal products
Butterfull Cosmetics products are handmade from mango seeds macerated and undenatured with other ingredients of natural origin from the West Indies, Africa, India. The products are made according to traditional methods.
In order to offer you a healthy and environmentally friendly range, our products are formulated without petrochemical-derived ingredients, mineral oils, parabens, artificial colourings, phthalates or PEG, other additions whose harmfulness to our health and our planet are discovered every day. The products are obviously not tested on animals. 
Our raw materials:
- Vegetable and artisanal oils from fruit and vegetable seeds from the West Indies, Africa and India
- Plants and wildflowers hand-picked with respect for the environment.
- Raw and unrefined beeswax and other treasures of the hive
- For some specific ingredients, we work with Laboratories based in mainland France.
Natural colouring of our cosmetics comes from natural extracts and juices of plants and flowers.
For example: the pinkish colour of the products in the Mango Pouss range comes from the natural pigments of the hibiscus flower. While the pretty green colour of the Mango High range comes from the combination of spirulina pigments and hemp oil. In contrast to chemical dyes, the natural extracts and colouring juices of plants are much more difficult to dose, which is why the colours of our cosmetics can vary in more or less light tones, depending on the production, and the same applies to the fragrances.
Sweet and gourmand fragrancesOur artisanal products are scented with aromatic extracts without allergens, phthalates (endocrine disruptors) or CMR agents (carcinogenic - mutagenic - toxic for reproduction).
The Conservatives The absence of water in the majority of our cosmetics makes it difficult for bacteria to develop and ensures a stable PH. The addition of aggressive preservatives is therefore not essential. In addition, the oils and plants we use are naturally rich in vitamin E, natural antioxidants (grape seed oil), anti-bacterial and antifungal agents (e.g. propolis, neem). These natural preservatives present in the compositions allow us to guarantee you healthy, stable and effective products.
Thickeners and surfactants : The emulsifiers/thickeners we use are all of natural origin such as unrefined raw beeswax.
The surfactant (detergent) and foaming agent in our shampoo and cream exfoliants is African black soap, 100% natural and effective.
Containers : We choose them either in glass or in PET which is a 100% recyclable material, certified bisphenol A and phthalate free.

We are committed to offering you natural products :
- Efficient : choose your products according to the real needs of your hair and skin and you will obtain satisfactory results.
- Economical : a small amount of product is enough for each use.
- Versatile : Our products are suitable for both skin care and hair care by responding adequately to the real needs of your hair and skin.
Our production is carried out by hand, in small batches (1 to 2 weeks per month) in order to guarantee fresh, healthy, quality products, according to the good manufacturing practices imposed by European regulations.
The laboratory is registered with the National Agency for Health and Medicines (ANSM). For your safety, microbiological tests are carried out by the Pasteur Institute (Cofrac accreditation) at least once a year and of course each time new products are launched. 
Like all cosmetics sold in France, our products are subject to French and European regulations. As producers, we are responsible to the health authorities and subject to obligations and controls.
In accordance with European legislation, the complete compositions of our natural cosmetics are notified on the European CPNP - Cosmetic Products Notification Portal. Each composition complies with the mandatory declarations made to the Poison Control Centres, now integrated into the European portal.
