My name is Anita Mutombo, Congolese by origin, Guadeloupean at heart.
My adventure didn't begin in a sterile laboratory, but in my kitchen in Guadeloupe in 2010, surrounded by nature whose full power I hadn't yet suspected.
It all started with a dual act of love. First, for myself: I decided to say goodbye to hair relaxers to embrace my natural hair. Then, for my son: faced with his fragile newborn skin, I was appalled by the quantity of toxic ingredients in industrial products, even those intended for children.
Under the Guadeloupean sun, I rediscovered the mango trees in my garden. I understood that the solution wasn't in a chemical bottle from far away, but in the earth around me.
To transform this intuition into true expertise, I rigorously trained in artisanal cosmetics, obtaining the necessary certifications to guarantee excellent care.
That's where I developed a passion for the secrets of Afro-Caribbean pharmacopoeia. To go further, I took several specialized courses to understand the alchemy of plants and natural active ingredients.
Today, every Mango Butterfull product is the result of this balance: respect for ancestral traditions combined with certified technical mastery and a dedicated team who understands my vision and has supported me from the beginning. This stability is our strength: we are a family united by the same commitment to quality.

Our Laboratory in Guadeloupe: The Cradle of Inspiration
It is here, on this "butterfly island," that the spark ignited and everything began for MANGO BUTTERFULL. My laboratory in Guadeloupe is not just a manufacturing site; it's my sanctuary, the setting where I formulated my very first skincare products. It was there, surrounded by mango trees and generous nature, that I felt a deep and immediate connection between my cherished island, situated between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and my country of origin, Congo DRC: I realized that the plants and fruits surrounding me in Guadeloupe were almost the same as those in my native Africa. This familiarity immediately touched me; it was as if nature was speaking a language I already knew. It is this invisible bridge between my two cultures that allowed me to so naturally appropriate these treasures from the earth to create my first skincare products.
Nestled in the heart of lush vegetation, this workshop is where the magic happens. To enhance the exceptional resources of the West Indies, I work hand-in-hand with award-winning beekeepers and passionate local artisans. Together, we combine the gold from our hives and the power of our flora to create exceptional skincare products that carry the soul and vibration of the islands.
It is this local expertise, combined with my knowledge of artisanal cosmetics, that allows us to transform the treasures of our land into a true natural and sensory beauty experience. This is where my vision took root, never to stop growing.

More than just a production site, my laboratory in Kinshasa is a promise kept: that of returning to where it all began. For me, it was unthinkable to promote African beauty without being present at the very heart of its cradle. I chose to anchor Butterfull Congo directly on site to transform the invaluable riches of our motherland with a commitment to modern expertise. Here, my mastery of artisanal cosmetics meets ancestral treasures envied by the world: the purity of Palm Kernel Oil, the softness of Ambunu, and the authenticity of Black Soap, whose secrets are passed down to us by the Pygmy people.
By producing locally, we don't just create skincare products; we build a solidarity-based value chain that honors the earth and magnifies the power of African botany in its noblest form. It's our way of paying tribute to our roots while offering the best of nature to your skin.
